What is the Garment's Hem?

The Garment’s Hem, Inc. (formerly IAMA Institute) is a 501 (c)3 corporation affiliated with the Metropolitan Baptist Church of Washington, DC., Dr. H. Beecher Hicks, Jr., Senior Servant.  For over 16 years we have provided professional and paraprofessional health and mental services to residents of the Washington metropolitan area. We employ an interdisciplinary team of medical and mental health professionals trained and skilled in the integration of psychology and theology. We are dedicated to a holistic approach to healing that understands the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of our clientele. We offer a wide range of services that address the many psychosocial challenges facing individuals, families, and children.
