Training and Consultation

  • The Child Abuse Prevention and Intervention Program trains volunteers who work with children and youth in the church environment. We are available to schedule these sessions for leaders and laity as a means of reducing the risk of liability to the local church in its commitment to ministry to youth.
  • The Paraprofessional Counselor training program trains leadership and laity in the fundamentals of counseling including basic counseling techniques, confidentiality, legal and ethical issues, and managing a counseling ministry in the local church.
  • We are available to assist churches in the planning and development of a 501 c (3) corporation to provide counseling and mental health services as a part of the ministry of the local church.
